Hi, I’m Eden, your Kurator.

Kurated was born during my career break after leaving Netflix — a leap of faith that marked a drastic and meaningful change in my life.

Stepping away from the corporate world gave me space to pause for the first time. During that time, I spent countless hours in nature and felt a deep pull toward living with greater purpose. I’ve always cared about creating positive impact and sharing things that genuinely bring joy to others.

I was born and raised in Korea, and later travelled and lived in many places around the world. Through those experiences, I realized how much I wanted to contribute and how deeply I valued connection — the foundation of what would become the Kurated community.

With Kurated, my mission is to cut through the noise of K-Beauty and bring forward the rituals of care I grew up with in Korea — traditions passed down through generations. This is what I wanted to share, thoughtfully and wholeheartedly.

My goal is to curate artisanal products rooted in craft and generational knowledge, and bring them to you with clarity and care.

Just as you might seek recommendations from people you trust, I began by turning to my inner circle — family, friends, and colleagues — asking them to share their true favorites. Over time, I met the founders behind these brands, listened to their stories, and understood the values that guided their formulations. This shaped my entire discovery process and taught me that it’s not about having more products, but choosing the right ones — a philosophy centered on purpose rather than excess.

Just as you’ve taken time to get to know me, I want to get to know you as well. Kurated began with care and intention, and I’m grateful that you’re here. I hope these discoveries bring you as much joy as they’ve brought me.
